Debate Minnesota and the Minnesota State Student Association will host a gubernatorial debate at Minnesota State University, Mankato Tuesday, Oct. 26.
Three major-party candidates for governor – DFL-endorsed Mark Dayton, Republican-endorsed Tom Emmer, and Independence Party-endorsed Tom Horner – will square off at 7 p.m. in Bresnan Arena of Taylor Center. The event is free and open to all.
Those who are not able to view the debate in person may watch a live webcast on The Uptake online video news site at http://theuptake.org/.
Debate Minnesota is a non-profit, nonpartisan organization which attempts to provide candidates with a public platform where their ideas can be challenged and exchanged in a fair, honest discussion. More information about the organization is at http://www.debateminnesota.com/.
