DebateWatch events

Colleges and Universities are invited to participate in DEBATEWATCH, a voter education program of the Commission on Presidential Debates. This year's presidential debates are scheduled for Sept. 26, Oct. 7 and 15; the vice presidential debate is Oct. 2. DebateWatch is a voter education program of the Commission on Presidential Debates (CPD). The goal of DebateWatch is to bring people together to watch the televised debates and talk about what they’ve learned. The DebateWatch website offers a program guide for hosting a debate gathering. Colleges, universities, organizations, student groups and others can organize, publicize, or otherwise support opportunities for citizens to gather together, watch debates, talk about them afterwards and provide feedback. This simple, flexible program makes it easy to encourage individuals to engage in civic discussion. For more information on DebateWatch, see www.debates.org.
