Anoka Technical College hosts governor panel- Oct. 28
The Anoka Technical College will be hosting a panel on Wednesday, Oct. 28 at 10:30 a.m. featuring the candidates for governor. This is part of Anoka Technical College's annual K-14 symposium. The gubenatorial candidates will be speaking on workforce and higher education. Each candidate gets five minutes of "open mike" and then will be asked 4-6 additional questions related to higher education and workforce education and training.

Six candidates were in attendance, 4 Democratic and 2 Republican. The event's topics covered tuition rates, job training, health care costs, the value of public education, inter-college transfer, and coordination between secondary and post-secondary institutions. The event started and ended a few minutes behind schedule. Moderated by Mark Milliron.
